An independent guide to one venue, with every fact traced to a source
Midnight Resort House is written and published independently of Genting Hotel, of Genting Casinos UK Limited and of Resorts World Birmingham. This page explains how the information was gathered, what was deliberately left out, and where the photographs come from.
What this site is, and what it is not
- An independent guide to one venue: Genting Hotel, Santai Spa and Genting Casino Resorts World Birmingham, all inside the Resorts World Birmingham complex on Pendigo Way.
- Written from public sources: the venue’s own published pages, the Gambling Commission’s public register and current news reporting, all listed at the foot of every page.
- A place to work out whether a visit suits you, and what the rules are before you arrive.
- Not the official website of Genting Hotel, of the casino or of Resorts World Birmingham.
- Not affiliated with, endorsed by or operated by any of those, or by Genting Casinos UK Limited.
- Not a booking service. We take no reservations, no payment details and no deposits, and we run no enquiry form.
- Not a gambling operator. We hold no licence and offer no gambling of any kind.
How the facts on this site were gathered
Every factual statement here traces to a page we actually read, and each page of this guide ends with the list of those sources. We started with the venue’s own websites, then checked the licensing detail against the Gambling Commission’s public register, then looked for independent reporting to confirm that the complex is currently trading and to fill in the history.[11, 12, 14, 16]
Anything that changes over time was treated with suspicion. Where two sources disagreed, we say so on the page rather than choosing the tidier number. The clearest example is the start time for live gaming: the casino’s own pages say 1pm and the hotel’s casino page says 2pm, so both appear in this guide.[1, 10, 9]
Where only one weak source existed, the fact was left out. All copy here was written from the underlying facts rather than lifted from anyone’s pages, and there are no reviews, ratings, testimonials or visitor figures on this site, because we have no honest way to produce them.
Left to the official channels
- Room rates and package prices, which change daily. Only the booking screen is reliable.
- Table and machine counts beyond the operator’s own “over 100” and “over 40” figures.[1]
- A fixed live-music timetable for High Line, which moves; check the venue on the day.[1, 15]
- Menus, chef names, awards and star ratings.
- Any claim about odds, payouts or winnings.
Exterior photographs of the complex are used under Creative Commons licences and credited beneath each image as well as here. Atmospheric photographs of hotel rooms, spa, dining and casino moods are stock or produced for this guide to set the tone of a stay; they are thematic and are not photographs of this venue’s interiors. Every file was resized for the web but not otherwise altered. Where a licence includes a share-alike condition, that condition continues to apply to the photograph.

Everything here was last checked on 2 September 2026
Opening hours, prices, room types, restaurant tenants and even licence records change. The date above is the day every source listed on this site was read. If you are reading this much later, treat the detail as a starting point and confirm anything that matters with the venue.
The venue’s official website is the authoritative source for rooms, tables, offers, membership and current times. The Gambling Commission’s public register is the authoritative source for licensing.[13]
This guide has no shared contact channel with the venue and no reservations desk of its own. Anything you need to arrange, ask, confirm or pay for has to go through the hotel on +44 (0)121 273 1000 or through its own website.[4]
